Benefits

Increase your return on investment and shorten the amount of time it takes to manufacture your biopharmaceutical drug when using Fractogel® EMD media. Fractogel® EMD media are the only tentacle modified synthetic polymer for biochromatography especially designed for industrial use. The media provide high capacity binding and high resolution along with all the advantages of polymer chromatographic beads including high throughput, easy column packing, long life time and high mechanical stability.

The binding of biomolecules is often better with tentacle exchangers such as Fractogel® EMD than compared to conventional gels. The result is enhanced performance of high capacity at high flow rates for nearly all capture steps. Saving time increases the yield and improves process economics which is an advantage applicable for many production schemes.

The high resolution S-type media are excellent for polishing steps.

Summary:
High capacity at high flow rates high throughput
High pressure stability high flow rates
High chemical stability easy cleaning in place (CIP)
Strong binding of proteins efficient capture
High recovery of biological activities high yield
Narrow particle size distribution good resolution
Efficient removal of viruses, DNA and endotoxins high purity of target molecule
RSF available support for process validation
